New England Cheval Canadien

This Friday June 26th we have made the difficult decision to auction off most of our horses. Please see the event page for more information. This by no means should be interpreted as giving up on Canadians. If anything it will allow us more time to train, perform and enjoy the Canadians we are keeping for our own pleasure. Three purebred Canadians and one Canadian cross will remain at Hawk Hill. Two are booked for refresher training and expansion of their skills. Over the next few years we and the horses will continue our training and move from pleasure rides and drives, to event performance and display and finally to competition. We are downsizing so that we can focus more on a few horses. We have kept two of our best, unrelated broodmares and have retained breeding rights to a third should we decide to get back into breeding.

The horses we are keeping are Hawk Hill Bandit Lucan, Poirier XNO Katee, Cosyland Wilfrid Lilac and our Arab Canadian cross Mirage.

We will keep you posted on our transition.
