This year again there will be 6 canadians at Equine Affaire in Springfield, MA. The breed demo will be on Thursday and there will be a canadian showing in the Pfizer Fantasia show every evening. Sue Heath would definetely be able to give you all the…
I am sure you will not remember me, but my friend Kathy and I made it up to the Richmond show the year before last and had a wonderful time escaping reality and surrounding ourselves with Canadien horses. Nearly two years ago I was lucky enough to purchase Canadream Harrison Pulsar from Michelle Ruell (thank you Michelle so much for trusting me with him). I want to thank you for breeding such an awesome horse and to let you know that he won both his dressage classes (T3 and T4) at Topsfield this past weekend. He ended up with the second highest score in the whole competition. The last two years have been an incredible experience, building trust and co-operation. It is a compulsive journey and Pulsar's continued acceptance of the steps along the way amazes me. Just thought you should know how great yet another of your babies is.............
That makes sense. Thanks. Actually, I should have figured that out myself, since when I drove up to your place, I paid for gas with my credit card, and Mobil/Exxon managed to figure it out! Spring has sprung around here. Pearl and Ruby are cycling, and poor Max is treading very carefully. Poor boy has no idea why his best friends are suddenly so evil! This, too, shall pass. Hope all is well with you, and that springtime comes to Ontario soon.
Hi MJ!
Just had to brag- Rev was in her first "hunter over fences" show on Sunday, and was absolutely amazing! She had never jumped a course before that day, but was so calm and brave that she jumped everything she was pointed at! Unfortunately she did not place in the jumping division (we have not worked much on lead changes and such, we just wanted her to get the experiance), but she took home the 4th ribbon on the flat!!
I have a short video clip of her jumping that I will post as soon as I figure out how to download it onto the computer... You would have been so proud (I know I was!).
Hope all is well and you are keeping warm,
Beth
Hi MJ (Mary-Josee or Merry-Josie) however you want to look at it! LOL
I was so happy to get the chance to meet you in person. Your doing such wonderful things for our breed and really need to be commended for your efforts. Kimberley is awesome too, by the way! I hope we get to meet again soon.
Thank you so much for entrusting such an important horse to me - your support and kind words mean the world to me. It's wonderful to have someone who believes in us so much!
I can't wait to show everyone how great this breed is.
I love the pictures of Dazzler that you have. The pictures on my page are of the half arabs (both of them- one chestnut & one black). Let me know if you still would like me to e-mail them to you. Happy Trails!Brigitte
Hi MJ,
You don't know me but I have two of Dazzlers babies from when Heather had him in OH. They are 1/2Arab 1/2 Canadian crosses (she bred them) and we love them to pieces. The both excel in dressage & jumping and have his awesome personality & presence. I hope he is doing well- he's quite the stallion. Just thought I would share! ~Brigitte

I am feeling much better MJ! Thanks for asking. I am so glad to be through with the 1st trimester yucky stuff!
I was out to see Rev today and I did give her an apple, and a big kiss. She is doing great and is turning into quite the little jumper! She really seems to like jumping, and has eanough talent in dressage that I think she really could do anything! I think I hit a goldmine with her and can't wait to get back at it next summer.
She is participating in a fundraising ride for a local theriputic riding facility at the end of the month. The girl that is leasing her is so excited, and I think Rev is going to have alot of fun. It will be great experiance for her to get off the farm and have to see the comotion of a busy day, but not have to compete for anything.
Anyways, glad you are doing well , and congrats again on having such a lovely horse in Patriote. It is exciting to see such talent!
