laurel,
I also got the message. We probably all got hit. I left a message for Nicki and I am sure she will remove this person asap. If you go to the woman's page, you can block all messages from her, but I am sure she will be gone before she hits us…

I am also new to Canadians, but since I have a one-yr old colt I'll chime in. The dam is 15.3 (Standardbred), his sire is 15.3 (old-style Morgan) and he's about 13.3 at age one. I've heard that size is heavily determined by the dam.
I'd love…
Hi Laurel
You are correct there are lots of great people here.
My canadian is registered. Thats a bummer that the DNA testing could not determine his lines. I am pretty familiar with them because I fell in love with the breed when I first saw them at the equine affaire in 07. I purchased turbo as a 4 month old then from a breeder I met there. I looked up a lot of information on line and found a lot of good stuff like how they are registered different and how they are a rare breed because they were almost wiped out and they have the best feet and things like that. Before meeting the breed in 07 I had never herd of them either.
That is really neat that you are teaching your horse to jump. I love jumping. I bought Turbo knowing that when he is old enough that is what he is going to be used for. I know he already loves it to because he jumps this rock wall in his pasture all on his own since he was 1 years old.! hehe
I am sorry for the silence ......too much on my plate this weekend.
Congrats to Guy with his ribbon..... good boy, I hope you had fun.
Would you and Guy like to stay with me on the night of July 3rd we are very close to the event site. Steve will be away in Daytona FL and I will be showing one of the exmoor's up in Syracuse NY on the 3rd...so I will not be home until late afternoon but we can organize that ...... Guy can have a stall of his own. I will be able to help you in the am on Saturday .
As to a scarf...I am sure we can work something out !! my best advertising is around the necks of family and friends..... choose a color and style.
no,not Conway - I live in Rindge,NH,which is south of Keene.
my grey's mom was likely a former PMU mare - she was Belgain/Arab - she is where Fable gets his dapples from - he is an odd assortment of breeding....but the canadian part is very apparent, both in looks and temperment.
Hi Laurel,I have a couple old pics of Ulee on my NECC page, but nothing real recent - the little booger is so friendly that whenever I go out to the paddock to snap some pics, she's right there,in your face ! but I will hopefully get one of the barn girls to take some soon - guess I'll have to resort to holding her!
Hey,it is great that you event too !!! - hopefully Ulee will want to when she grows up - my current event horse is my dapple grey 1/2 canadian - he is the boy responsible for getting me hooked on the breed. His dad is Louise Nelson's stallion Calypso - she is out in NY state too - as is my sister Sue Neal.
