That is so great!! I don't know what you mean by licensed shows, do you mean schooling shows? We use different terms here, schooling or recognized, meaning USDF. I don't think I saw any scores for him this year. I hope next year you try for the medal at third, that would be a great accomplishment for our breed and in front of the USDF judges. They are quite interested in our horses, we just need to continue to present them professionally and well trained. Duke did good this year but we are stuck on one movement which hurt our scores. We do not have access to full time training where I board and its expensive to keep trucking out to his trainer's. Wish we were closer. I am interested to talk about common training challenges we face with the breed. Now I want to get to the Expo!
I may have some other commitments but I did not know you were going. Maybe I will see if I can rearrange some things as Jess and I would love to see the guys and talk to you. There is also another very talented Canadian (Artagon sp)in Virginia that is competing. This girl is only 15! I would have loved to see these three horses do a dressage drill together. These are three are the top dressage showing Canadians in the country now and would have been spectacular together. Who organized the breed expo this year? I would like to at least send some photos for the booth display and maybe his USDF medal. My goal is to encourage more riders to compete for the USDF all breed medal. I had hoped you would have competed for second level this year! We need to show the judges that our guys can do higher levels.
Hi Kimberly, How was your show season with your Canadians, are you showing more in eventing or did you get any of them out to USDF shows? Are you ever up in the Boston area? We would love to meet you.
Hi Kimberly, I just bought my 1st Canadian and am looking forward to dressage shows w/him. Any tips for training? My trainer is an eventer who has only worked w/off the track Tb's, but she is kind and sensative to the horses well being. Karen Whitney
Hi Kimberly,
Congratulations moving up a level. Were these scores from a schooling show or a recognized show? Love the pictures at home, looks like you have beautiful property to really keep your horses fit and mentally happy with trails and fields.

Kimberly --- I was very happy to have the opportunity to see you and Patriote at Equine Affaire. I greatly enjoyed seeing his demo, and it's very plain to see how much potential he really has. MJ has every right to be delighted with the partnership. And you were telling me that your own horse, one of Patriote's son's, is coming along nicely, as well. I look forward to a future of this father and son duo making the dressage world sit up and take notice of Canadiens. Best of luck, and know that I'll be watching your progress and cheering you on!
Hi Kimberley,
You should have seen Kiki's face when she saw Patriote's huge ribbon. Her eyes got so big they almost fell off her face...lol She wanted me to say hello.
