My 14yo gelding is Hudonac Yukon Endurant (but I call him Fuzzy because of all that forelock, mane and tail!). His sire is Ranch Lac G Riki Yukon, dam is Gitane Romano Yoyo. I've had him for almost 5 years, and we've come quite a long way!
Hey Kate! Remember me from Sara's. My Canadian's name is Finn...we used to do some of the dressage and eventing shows there. I got her from Mark as well. I hope all is well with you and Fuzzy - Heard you moved.
Best and hope you can join us all at Steep Rock when we go.

Hi Kate,
Great to hear from you! I am a little uncertain of show plans at present. I had a blood test done on P after the show and am glad that I did. He tested positive for Lyme, so I am continuing to count out 65 tablets of doxy twice a day and trying to persuade him that yogurt really IS worth eating! I rode him for the first time in over 3 weeks today and he seemed way better, so I am sure he is on the road to recovery, but I just don't want to push it. Yes, I knew there was a show at Wells Valley, but I think there is another Weatogue show that day, that I had earmarked, but I love the people at Wells Valley. I have done a couple of shows there and the guys who run it are so friendly and helpful even getting trodden on, while holding Pulsar while I saddled up! Let me know your plans, it would be great to double or triple (if I can persuade Kath to come too) the Canadien presence.
Hope you get the chance to enjoy this wonderful weather Kate.

Hi Kate - Thanks for commenting on the photos. I didn't realize Fuzzy came from Mark also. Do you know more about where they came from in Quebec? I would love to find out more. I hope the riding is going well. Any events coming up?
Take care
Mary Ann
Hi Kate - Yes it's me! Cezar and I are doing well up here in New Hampshire. I still miss CT terribly ( friends, climate and horse activities) but we are adjusting. The key is that I have an 11 acre farm and he is home with me. I have set up a mini x-c course but I don't have a ring yet. We have done 3 BN events... two eliminations and one last place ( but two other people were eliminated. I cannot get my dressage score to budge from 45 and we are slow x-c so I get time penalties. But we are having a blast!!! If you ever come up this way , maybe GMHA, give us a call!!! I am so glad we are in touch again. Plus I know Clare and Kathy who is a friend of a friend of mine Ginny. And of course I know Dan. So this is way cool - enjoy the rest of the summer now that it is finally here.
Welcome, welcome Kate! So glad you finally joined. It seems that Steep Rock is a popular location for trail riding - have you ever ridden there? It really IS beautiful. I am wondering whether we could organize a trail ride there. We could have quite the Canadien parade if you would be interested in joining, with Dan's horse, Summer, my neighbor Kathy and, if I could find another trailer, my husband Peter. How did you do on Sunday? Hopefully better than me! I have my vet coming on Wed to take blood and ensure nothing medically wrong with P. It was such a wonderful experience to run into you - I have never unexpectedly met another Canadien before - that feeling of instant mutual recognition!
