Sure - I'd love to learn more about these shows.

Thanks!

The dressage show on Friday was a different event. The Pony Club Dressage Rally moved in on Saturday afternoon. The rides were Sunday and today. Carolyn was horse manager for a scramble team from two other clubs - big responsibility. Her team came in 2nd overall (riding and horse management), 3rd in HM because her team members didn't have their tack cleaned to the appropriate standards. She was frustrated because non of their penalty points were things she was responsible for.

If you're not familiar with how a pony club rally works, I'll send you a more detailed message - it's really cool. The Dressage people who were moving out on Saturday afternoon (late, btw!) were very impressed with how the kids moved in and set things up. It's completely different from other types of competition.

Hi - yes I was at the dressage show at UNH on Friday. That was my first visit to watch a rated show. My jaw was dropping all over the place at the beautiful horses. How did your daughter do?

I didn't get there until Sunday - my daughter was competing in the Pony Club Dressage Rally at UNH this weekend, so there was lots of back and forth between Haverhill and Durham.

I was there, without Marina, and looked for the table, too.

Just wondering...... What happened to the table for the show? I saw Sue Heath there, Karl, and also the McCloud group. Did anyone else show up?

Hi

Anything new on the Show? I can be there Sat and Sun. Haven't heard anything lately. Hope evety thing is ok and we will have a good showing. I plan to bring free organic yogurt to hand out to people visiting the table.

Do you need me to bring anything else?

Hi Nikki, I've made the decision not to show this year, as my knees are just not functioning well at this point. My surgeon and I are trying to figure out what time of year is best to replace the right knee. I've just finished a series of Synvisc (just like Legend for horses) in that knee, and two weeks ago, he injected the left one with cortisone. The cortisone is wearing off, and I'll probably do Synvisc in it soon. Unfortunately, I've been riding mostly at a walk for a couple of months because my knees just can't handle any more than that. So showing just isn't in the cards for me right now.

However, I will be available to help with our table. My daughter is competing in a Pony Club rally at UNH late Sat. through Monday, so I would be able to give some time on Friday and early Saturday. Are you making up a schedule?

Also, can you send me the files for the flyers so I can print some?

Thanks!

Hi all - I know the show is coming up soon...if the banners work out then great, however, if not...don't stress over it. We have some business cards and a nicely formatted information sheet to hand out. These items may be all that we need to get the word out to folks about who we are, etc.

I just put out some money towards NECC for the annual po box renewal and the domain names so unfortunately, I don't have much if any...more volunteer funds to donate. I'd also be cautious as well as I've put out hundreds before to sponsor classes and to have a handful of people to go in on it with me and only ever received money from one....so I don't necessarily advise anyone to commit to anything...or to plan on spending money on behalf of NECC until we can come up with ways to start to generate some funds to then spend.

This is just some valuable feedback from me...

I personally am more concerned about a presence at the table and having the flyers printed to hand out. I have a stack of them left that I will send to Christine or whoever is opening up the table....but maybe we can all share in printing out 25 or so each from our own printers...that would give us 150 flyers to handout!

I am available to have a web meeting or even a conference call maybe one day after work or over the weekend...let me all know what you think and I can get it setup for us.

Thanks, Nicki
