Just out of curiosity, will there be a Canadien presence at Equine Affair this year? This is my first time attending and I am hoping to meet some Canadien owners. Thanks, Marcia
HI Marcia
Which Equine Affair are you refering to? We have been to the one in Columbus Ohio held in April each each and not sure if we are going again this year but are looking for other events to attend. I share your interest in meeting other Canadien owners which seems easier said than done. I live north of Toronto in Ontario .
Let me know what you find .
Susan
i think i remember nicki velozo saying that she was going to be at the one in springfield, ma, in mid-november....at the new hampshire horse council booth, perhaps???? drop a line & ask her just to be sure! i will be floating around, oogling all the pretty horses but won't be at a booth or with our horse! just a wanderer at the event. we have seen a couple of groups with chevaux canadiens at the breed barn in previous equine affaires, so i'm hoping they will be there again this year.
Susan,
I was referring to the EA in Springfield, Ma. Sorry for the confusion. I guess I was being a bit Massachusetts centric when I asked the question. If I ever make it North of the border, I would love to come and meet you and your Canadiens!
Marcia
Marcia, I think you're referring to the Equine Affaire thats held in Springfield, MA. I went my first time last year, and there were several Canadien horses there. Like you, I'm hoping to see them again this year too.
I'm sure Sue Heath will know what's planned for the Equine Affaire in Springfield this year. She's always there participating in the Canadian Horse presentation and she does the Versatile Horse competition with Nelligan.
I assume you are referring to the Equine Affaire in Springfield, MA in November. I checked the schedule and the Canadian breed demonstration is on the first day. There should be several Canadians there. I went for the first time last year and got to meet the people who bred my horse.
This year again there will be 6 canadians at Equine Affaire in Springfield, MA. The breed demo will be on Thursday and there will be a canadian showing in the Pfizer Fantasia show every evening. Sue Heath would definetely be able to give you all the info.
