As 2008 comes to a close NECC has proudly reached 100 members online. There will be many great and exciting things unfolding in 2009. The NECC Bylaws are almost complete and plans to sponsor a natural horsemanship clinic in Massachusetts are also underway.
The NEFHC Topsfield show will be an important show for us this year. We need to make a huge effort to promote our breed at this show. The 2009 Topsfield Show sponorship forms will be available online soon. We would like to get a head start and be prepared to help make the show a big success . Please start to plan ahead so that you can support the ONLY New England show to offer Canadian Horse classes. Members are encouraged to join the NECC Topsfield show committee. Even if you are not going to be showing you can still be a participant. Updates will be posted on the show as they become available.
The Canadian horse is being well represented in a traveling art exhibit called The Literary Horse. Tremcel Kame Playboy, one of the New England stallions, is not only part of the exhibit, but is also featured on Photographer Vanessa Wrights "Riders Read" poster. Great Job Playboy! Be sure to visit www.theliteraryhorse.com to see some amazing photography by Vanessa Wright and find out where the literary horse will be next.
We have accomplished so much in the past few months. With much time, perserverance and encouragement from near and abroad, our vision is coming to life in NECC. A Very Special 'Thank You' goes out to everyone who has helped make NECC come to life and a growing success. We shall continue to grow our relationships with canadian owners and lovers near and far. NECC would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and yours for a happy and safe holiday!
